To start Telnet services
Step 1
Telnet services in Windows 2000 are set to manual by default. In order to start the telnet
Services, first you need to go to Start option and then select Program. After that, you need to select the Administrative Tools and Telnet Server Administration option. Once the command prompt appears, choose 4 to get it started.
