Step 1

To limit the size of a mail message, administrator can define by going to the Start option and then Program. After that, you need to choose the Administrative Tools and IIS. Next, you need to right click on the SMTP virtual server and then choose Properties. Another window will appear which is similar to the one shown below:

Later, you have to choose the Messages tab and set the size to 1 Megabytes then just go to Limit message size to (KB) the textbox and change it to 1000.

User can even set the size of a particular forwarding session to a certain size.
