How to set permission access to SMPT services

To set permission access to SMPT services

Step 1

To setup user verification before an individual is allows to use SMPT relay services on your IIS, first you need to go to Start and then choose the Program. After that, you need to select the Administrative Tools and then click IIS.

Step 2

Next, you need to right click on SMTP virtual server and then choose Properties. Another window will appear which is similar to the one shown below:

Later, under the Access Control, you need to click on the Relay option.

Step 4

To enable all users to relay their message through you SMTP server, just configure to the settings shown above. But most of the time you donꊰ want to do that because having large amount of users to relay through your server might cause it to be overloaded.
