How to create your FTP download directory

To create your FTP download directory

Step 1

To create your FTP download directory, all your need to do is to right click on Default FTP site and go to New and choose Virtual Directory.

Step 2

After that, the Virtual Directory creation wizard will appear as shown below.

Later, you need to click on Next to continue and we will call this directory as Download.

Step 4

Later, just click on the Next to continue and then user will need to provide path for this virtual directory.

Step 5

We will use the path C:\Inetpub\ftproot\download and you need to click on the Next to continue. We are not going to set the access permission to this site.

Step 6

Now, you can see that the FTP virtual directory is completed.

Step 7

Finally, you just need to click on the Finish button to end this.
